What are affirmations?

(german below)

Basically, affirmation is about changing the thought pattern. All bad beliefs and thoughts should be changed from bad to positive. Most people often have negative sentences in their heads, such as "I'm too stupid for that" or "I can't do that anyway". An affirmation is basically nothing other than to reverse these thoughts. The sentence "I can't do that anyway" now becomes "I can do that".
A constant repetition here serves to ensure that the thought is also fixed in the memory. The power of one's own psyche is often not properly realized. Most people are not aware that they are being manipulated by their negative affirmations and that they are setting themselves a blockade. Usually these bad thoughts arise at a very young age. As a child you are easily influenced. If you have often been told that you cannot do something or have done something wrong, then you will be accompanied by these thoughts for a long time. The belief that one cannot and never will be able to do this or that which was formed in childhood is difficult to get out of one's mind again.
As a child, for example, you are taught by your parents to be careful with strangers or never to open the door to a stranger. This fear has become so entrenched in the minds of many people that they still feel insecure about strangers.
Faiths can be used everywhere. Of course you cannot change your thoughts immediately, but the work will be worthwhile. However, you must learn to create positive affirmations. ;)

Was sind Affirmationen?
