Recientemente, el pasado 09 de diciembre de 2023, la comunidad SWC realizó un evento deportivo extraordinario de Calistenia en el estado Zulia, Competencia de alto rendimiento titulada "Endurance to the limit", en su primera edición. El evento se desarrolló exactamente en el Parque Vereda del Lago, como su nombre lo dice, ubicado a orillas del Lago de Maracaibo, con un paisaje espectacular y cálido. Después de tanto tiempo esperando y preparándome para una competencia de este calibre, llegó el momento de pasar a la acción como atleta de Calistenia. Mi nombre es Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina y este contenido fotográfico va dedicado a Dios y a todos aquellos que me visitan. > *Greetings, #hive friends and #liketu users! Recently, last December 09, 2023, the SWC community held an extraordinary Calisthenics sporting event in the state of Zulia, High Performance Competition entitled "Endurance to the limit", in its first edition. The event took place exactly in the Vereda del Lago Park, as its name says, located on the shores of Lake Maracaibo, with a spectacular and warm landscape. After so long waiting and preparing for a competition of this caliber, it was time to take action as a Calisthenics athlete. My name is Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina and this photographic content is dedicated to God and to all those who visit me.* --- --- Llevo casi un tercio de mi vida entrenando ejercicios de resistencia, circuitos cronometrados, series y repeticiones; como todo atleta, he pasado por momentos difíciles, depresiones y muchas frustraciones a lo largo de mi vida deportiva. Tras un proceso de sanación mental y espiritual que me tomó casi un año, decidí volver con una gran convicción de superación personal y una mentalidad dispuesta a luchar por sus objetivos. Tomé la determinación de dar un paso al frente para expresar mis ganas de querer competir en este evento, dentro de la categoría Elite. Aquí pensé en una gran problemática, y es que Maracaibo es una ciudad bastante lejos de mi hogar, más de 12 horas de viaje por tierra, pero con mucha fe y pasión por lo que amo, decidí no entrar en cuadros de ansiedad y dejar que Dios actuara. Y así fue, a los pocos días de haber planteado la idea de participar, el CEO Manuel Ramos @manuelramos y la Asesora Técnica Marleny Suárez @marlenyaragua, se encargaron de solicitar los viáticos para brindarme la oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia, por lo cual les agradezco mucho el tiempo dedicado y el hecho de haberme apoyado en algo tan extraordinario. Muchas gracias a nuestro Padrino de la comunidad @guiltyparties, por creer en nosotros y por haber aprobado los recursos necesarios para que pudiéramos emprender este viaje hacia el camino del éxito. > *I have been training endurance exercises, timed circuits, sets and repetitions for almost a third of my life; like every athlete, I have gone through difficult moments, depressions and many frustrations throughout my sporting life. After a process of mental and spiritual healing that took me almost a year, I decided to come back with a great conviction of self-improvement and a mentality willing to fight for their goals. I took the determination to take a step forward to express my desire to compete in this event, within the Elite category. Here I thought of a big problem, and is that Maracaibo is a city quite far from my home, more than 12 hours of travel by land, but with great faith and passion for what I love, I decided not to enter into anxiety and let God act. Many thanks to our community sponsor @guiltyparties, for believing in us and for having approved the necessary resources so that we could undertake this journey towards the road to success.* --- --- Volviendo a lo que fue la competencia "Endurance to the limit 1° Edition", tuve la oportunidad de participar y demostrar mis capacidades, ha sido la primera vez que he viajado tan lejos para competir, y también fue la primera vez que me sentí un poco triste, ya que estaba solo, en el sentido de que era el único de mi equipo Bears Fighters, el único atleta participante de Aragua y sin ningún familiar a mi lado. Pero mis compañeros de la comunidad, la madre de la comunidad Marleny Suarez, los organizadores, los atletas participantes y todos los amigos que hice, no tardaron en demostrar su apoyo incondicional, hospitalidad y sentido de fraternidad hacia mí para sentirme como en casa. Mis compañeros, familiares y en especial mi novia, me apoyaron desde la distancia y estuvieron presentes en la transmisión en vivo que se hizo a través de la web2, siendo testigos y un gran combustible para mi espíritu de guerrero. De esta manera, salí Campeón de la Categoría Elite y pude demostrar que valió la pena todo el esfuerzo que hicieron cada una de esas personas que estuvieron allí para mí, a las cuales les dedico este gran logro del 2023.
