Monomad ~ One Fine Morning...

One fine morning ...

I woke up and realized that I got sick. First my mom, than Nat, and now me. Just yesterday I told myself that I am strong and feel good, despite of quarantine and all those people gripped by panic. Although it is not a #ToiletPaperApocalypse, but it is suck to have to stay in bed on such a nice sunny day, probably the warmest day this year.

Oh, and quarantine means that all public events are cancelled, so I will not go to a cinema... That's why this post is about cinema, that has a quite dramatic and encouraging story. It was one of two best (because they are my fav) cinemas in Kyiv. Now it is the only one, the last. A tasty thing in the old part of the city. Someone would say a titbit to ... tear down and build an ugly commercial real estate. So, one day it suddenly burned down.

But the community didn't give up on it. They said there's no money in a budget (of the caputal!) for restoration, so people started a crowdfunding. And the cinema survived. Now it looks very modern and stylish.

At the photo, it is the decoration of the wall in the main hall. And there was no need to edit it to black and white as it is in black and white.
