Old Makkasan Railway Line in Monochrome !!

There is one thing i love to see and that is the old going back in time knowing how people coped years ago with what they had and made do walking along a railway line i think in any country you are always bound to find such old machinery , tools or abandon old workshops which were used years ago and have just been left there to age more.

These car trailers were once used for the railway workers to move along the tracks to inspect and perform maintenance on the tracks now they sit by the tracks retired.

Walking along the Makkasan railway line in Bangkok there were many of these hardwood sleepers that have just been left to rot becoming a home for insects to breed in and maybe a couple of snakes hiding out between the gaps.

Seeing these old workshop houses just abandon was quite intriguing , i would have loved to jump the fence and take a look inside but most probably with my luck , i would get myself arrested or scare some poor old squatters living in there.

I love how nature takes over and it all seems to blend in nicely with the existing surrounding nature.

Makkasan is one of the local Thai suburbs within the Bangkok capital and Makkasan Railway Station is close to the city , it's amazing to see how much old you actually see walking along this track but all the old blends in well with the new city.

I do love seeing these old traditional Thai wooden homes along the railway lines that are still been lived in handed down from generation to generation there is hardly any maintenance that goes into them but they still seem to stand up to the hash summers and the monsoon periods here in Thailand.

Bins full of track pin lock clips.

And this old traditional Buddha Temple Thai house was still looking great for it's age sitting on top of these wooden sleepers aging along with these wooden sleepers and looking over the peoples safety.
