Possible mining hashrate of the new GTX 1060.

Hello.

The GTX 1060 can be a very interesting card not only for gaming! It's price/perfomance/power consumption ratio can be one of the best at the market.

I have already tested GTX 1070 in games and mining and I can tell you, that this Pascal cards can give the battle to AMD!

If the top cards like GTX 1070-1080 have TDP below 200W (usualy about 140-170W), I expect smth about 100W from the GTX 1060.

GTX 1060 Specifications:

  •  GPU Engine Specs:
  •  1280NVIDIA CUDA® Cores   1506Base Clock (MHz)   1708Boost Clock (MHz)
  •  Memory Specs: 8 GbpsMemory Speed 8000 Mhz
  •   6 GB GDDR5Standard Memory Config
  •   192-bitMemory Interface Width
  •   192Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)

That means, GTX 1060 is about half of GTX 1080. But I think, the overall perfomance will be 40-50% less than GTX 1080 and 20-30% less than GTX 1070.

So, I expect such mining hashrates as:

Lyra2Rev2: ~30-32 Mhs with OC
ETHash: ~25-27 Mhs with OC
Blake (Decred): ~1800 Mhs with OC
Blake2s (b) (ex. Siacoin): ~1200-1300 Mhs with OC
Cryptonite (XCN): ~11-12 Mhs with OC
Neoscrypt (FTC): ~650-700 Khs with OC
LBRY: ~170-180 Mhs with OC

I think, these numbers will be very close to the true. It is remaining a bit of time to wait, so we will check this soon)

You know, that the cards will cost about 250$. You can calculate its profitability now.

The most profitable algo for now - LBRY - will give you about 4-5$ by each card.
