## What is Family?

Family are those people in your life that accept you for who you are. They don't make you do anything you don't want to do, and, they try really hard not to judge what you choose to do. One thing I've been meaning to do for awhile, is find a good way to honor those that show up for our weekly 'cooldowns' known as 'Family Time'. A way to say, "Thank you for hanging out with us!" Because, we really do appreciate your time. ## Gardens Picking up where left off last week, @enginewitty and @ismaelrd04 showed off a few pictures of their budding vegetation. Ismael had some tomatoes sprouting and Witty has broccoli and green beans up above the soil. While the three early birds (well, at least to Family Time in the Castle) @enginewitty, @ismaelrd04 and @latino.romano caught up a little bit and stumbled over the translations, Witty was hearing something in the background whenever Roman hit the push-to-talk. At first, it sounded like a vehicle, but after tuning his ears, he heard the familiar sound of kids at play.
No sooner than he asked Roman if they were at the park, boom, there it was, a picture of his adorable family with him at the park! It looked to be a beautiful day and perfect little spot in the shade to keep the sun's hot rays from making them sweat too much.

Meanwhile, at the Witty orchard, Luna had a friend over that all the sisters were competing for attention from. I felt bad for Freya as they all hopped on bikes and set out around the mowed perimeter of the (eventual) fruit orchard. She can't quite keep up with the older girls being on a tricycle. That, was the last day she rode it. It has since been hauled to the recycling station and set out for perhaps another child to enjoy. She is now adamant about learning to ride her bike. I remember learning to ride my bike. It wasn't your typical Huffy, no, it was a banana seat on a frame my dad found and had built (yes built) some tires out of old wheel barrel wheels. They had no room for air in them - just rubber and rim - and they were flat to the ground - it was a very bumpy ride. His assumption was that if I really wanted to learn to ride a bike, what I learned on should not matter. I soon found out, that it also had no brakes and used the double garage doors as a stopping post on a regular basis. It was the least abrupt thing to run into as it had some play in it and almost would slingshot me back if I didn't get up off the bike in time. You already know it did a few times, else how would I know that? Bwahahahaaa! ### Groovin'! It started to get real interesting once @marybellrg decided to pop in to the chat. Next thing you know, everyone is singing! She sung a beautiful song which prompted Witty to spit some rhymes. Then @latino.romano sang a verse right about the time that @saffisara, @moeknows, @wwwiebe and @hazem91 all showed up. It got even peppier once @elizabeths14 jumped in and started singing for us! Then everyone was singing! @ismaelrd04 sang for us, Witty sang a few songs before ending his own visit on 'I Can' (an older hiphop jam he wrote). Mary sang another one and even Moe hopped on the mic for a minute.
You should of been there, it was awesome. None of the 'Family Times' are recorded so it only now remains in our memories with a few prompts from some messages in the Castle.
