Learn Trancendental Meditation... for free

Transcendental Meditation is a technique designed to slow down your mind to the point of no thought. Studies have shown that using this technique twice a day for 10-60 mins can have huge health and well being benefits. The problem is that usually to learn the technique you have to pay the TM organisation to learn it. Until now!

The secret technique is to come up with a Mantra, ie a word or sound, which has no meaning. It could be anything as long as it means nothing to you. So basically make a word/Mantra up and stick to it across your practices. Then sit comfortably and repeat that Mantra in your head over and over and over again. If you get distracted by thoughts simply keep returning to your Mantra.

After a while your mind will start to quiet down to the point of no thought and a sense of deep relaxation arises. That is it. Apparently, this is when the body is able to rest, repair and recharge. Give it a go. This may be particularly useful to folks riding the crypto roller-coaster. Learn not to lose your mind and cool over it ; )
