ENGLISH VERSION
What you don't know, Marilyn, is that after all,
I was glad to know that you were
more than just the magnificent legs in that magazine clipping
hidden in my room,
more than the juiciest lips on Earth,
and more than that red portrait of you
Andy Warhol
pop art
that red limbo vibration,
more than the unexpected multiplications of your laughter
more than the smoky Marilyn of my breath.
That's why you don't need a prayer
because after all I'm glad to know that the point is not that
you were beautiful
nor a movie star
nor a mere body for the world's eye,
but a sweet death
that urge to love
that for a few years wanted to be a woman.
