If your like me, you recently heard about a great opportunity to invest in both crypto and the cannabis industry. However, when it came time to purchase your tokens you were overwhelmed by the complexity and number of steps needed to complete in order to obtain the crypto currency. So I have made a step by step guide on how to purchase Perkscoin. I hope this makes the process easy and seamless.
Step 1: Here is a list of the cryptocurrencies you can purchase Perkscoin with.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, BitConnect, Dash, Ether Classic, LISK, MaidSafeCoin, NEO, Omni, Qtum, Stratis, TetherUSD, Vertcoin, Waves, NEM, Monero, ZCash or FIAT.
If you don’t already own any of these you will need to purchase coins from an exchange. Coinbase in my opinion is the easiest Exchange to use for beginners. If you already own one of these cryptocurrencies you can skip to Step 3. If not, welcome to the world of cryptocurrency. This article is here to guide you and make the process as simple as possible.
Go to https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a3699f3b15fbd072dc4c817 and signup. You will need to do a few things here before you can buy or sell cryptocurrencies.
First you will need to upload a picture of your drivers license or photo ID. You can simply take a picture of the front and back of your drivers license/ID with your cell phone and email the photos to yourself. Save the images on your desktop and then upload them to Coinbase. Coinbase also offers this functionality through their phone app. download the Coinbase phone app and upload the pictures directly from your camera. NOTE (I had issues getting the app to recognize my id images with this feature when I tried to use the camera option in the Coinbase app. However, it may work for you).
Once this is complete you will need to link a debit card. For security you will have to verify 2 small withdraws from your bank account to verify that you are the rightful owner of this card. You will need an online banking account to do this.
Once your Coinbase account is created, you have uploaded your photo ID and verified your account information you are ready to move on to step 2.
Step 2: You can purchase Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin thru Coinbase. It is a personal decision on which cryptocurrency you prefer to use to purchase you Perkscoin. At the top of the Coinbase site you will see a Buy/Sell link in the navigation. Go here and choose one of the four currencies. Select your newly verified payment method and input the amount you wish to purchase. Upon clicking purchase your coins will instantly show up in your Coinbase account.
Step 3: Signup at https://ico.cannasos.com/?ref=d09e9cb252642a4ac071a4d9
Once you have done so there is a Red Deposit button in the top right corner. Click this it will take you to the bottom of the page where you can choose what type of currency you want to make your purchase with. Here you will choose whichever currency you decided to purchase from Coinbase or you already owned and wish to use to purchase your Perkscoin. There will be a green button that says Get Address for Payment. Click this and copy the address.
Step 4: If you are using Coinbase go back to your Coinbase account and click on the Accounts tab at the top. Here there will be a list of wallets for each currency. Under whichever currency you purchased you will see your balance and a button that says Send. Click the send button and paste the address you copied from Cannasos here. Enter the amount you want to send and click continue. Be mindful that there is a fee associated with sending money. So you may want to purchase a few extra dollars more than you plan to invest in Perkscoin. Once you send the funds it will say pending. The time it takes to send funds varies but typically takes around 30 minutes or longer. Check your Cannasos account. Once the funds are available you can purchase your Perkscoin!
Step 5: Final Step Go to the bottom of the ico.cannasos.com page. Under the Get Payment Address you clicked earlier, you will see where you can purchase your tokens. Choose the currency you are paying with from the dropdown box. Then either enter the number of Tokens you wish to purchase or click Spend all funds in your account to buy the maximum number of tokens possible with your available balance. Click Buy Now and walla, you have purchased the next payment method for medical and recreational cannabis!
