There's probably valid reasons for this, especially given the nature of an investigation involving classified materials.

But people would probably have an easier time trusting the FBI if it wasn't for, you know... a few things like AP impersonation, assassinations, coercion attempts of celebrities, COINTELPRO, false flag attempts, trying to cause MLK's suicide, psychological warfare, Ruby Ridge, unconstitutional domestic surveillance, Waco, Whitey Bulger, etc.

Like... Outside of those things and a handful of others, they seem pretty trustworthy. I mean... Everyone loves Mulder and Scully, and tracking serial killers they didn't create seems pretty interesting and admirable.

Of course, even if you don't trust the FBI, a judge signed on to a warrant based on the affidavit, and the judiciary has never given reasons to think it's politically motivated and...
