Personal experiences with affirmations and mantras


Initially, my first personal experience of affirmations and mantras was in Rishikesh, North India. Equally important, Rishikesh is a magical place in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, and the birth, and the heart of the world's yoga. Amongst philosophical and ayurvedic topics, I studied yoga and meditation in this beautiful part of the world for one month. Most noteworthy, before each yoga class and meditation began, positive mantras were chanted out loud to clear our minds of all its hectic busyness. As a result, this method truly helped to diminish all future and past distractions. The positive mantras enabled us to fully focus on the now; the present moment in time.

As I traveled throughout South East Asia, I noticed a recurring pattern. Locals were using affirmations and mantras as ways of prayer. Especially relevant, they put this focused energy out into the atmosphere through meditatively believing in it as well as via verbal chanting. Uniquely, this allows the spiritually charged energy from the positive affirmations and mantras to get to work out in our atmosphere. Therefore, in this article, I will be discussing:

What are positive mantras and affirmations?

Affіrmаtіоnѕ and mаntrаѕ are statements that are spoken out loud tо уоurѕеlf repetitively with confidence.
