#292 - Bee in macro.

Finally, the rain that has been pouring for days already stopped. Now we can see the sun and its brightness has started shining over those wet surfaces and they are starting to dry already.

Today, I would like to share some photos of a tiny critter we love, the honey bee. During our hike in Mount Arayat upon reaching one of its stop to chill and relax there's this bee hovering just above my left ankle. Then the bee landed on my skin then it started digging, not sure what it was after. Probably the sweat I excreted during the past two hours of hike.

Perhaps the bee find the sweat sweet and that is why it happened to just dropped by and see for itself.

I just stayed calm and let it do its thing. It never came to mind that it would sting me because I am not a threat to it. Plus if it stings me it would die eventually and it does not have any pollens yet in its hind legs to bring to its colony. So, pretty much it will be in big trouble.😁

Another reason I thought of was it is thirsty also that is why it tried to drink the drying sweat maybe because it has a sweet taste to it? 😅 I don't know but it rained earlier and there's plenty of rain water stuck on leaves but it chose to get to my leg
