If you don't lose it, you've used it

Love.
Chi.
Prana.

These words are interchangeable.
They define a form of energy that our bodies use to exist.

We run on this energy in the same way a car runs on gas.

We have been told, through our education systems, that the newtonian physical world is the totality of our existence.
This is not true.

Except for those exposed to higher level physics, many people go through life not knowing a great deal about how they work as a physical organism.

It is like someone driving a car who does not know they need to check their oil levels -- sure, when the tank is on empty they add gas, but day after day they drive miles and miles. Slowly the oil starts to leak and then, eventually, it has depleted itself. You end up blowing your engine, simply because you didn't understand how your vehicle actually functioned.

This gas and oil analogy may not be the best as we chi is the fuel as well as the lubricant in our case -- but we'll go with it!

When we use our bodies we use chi.
When we use chi we actually create more chi.

Does that make sense?

So what actually happens is your bodies systems for creating (absorbing, nothing is created or destroyed) processing and utilizing chi are improved.

In the same way that walking will increase your cardiovascular strength, using your chi, or energy, will increase your chi strength.

If you can recall an older fella, or lady, whom seemed full of life until they retired, and then they quickly spiraled into nothingness or even died, this is phenomena of the chi type.

When they had been working they were using their chi, building strength, and maintaining their vitality. Without their work, they no longer use their chi, expecting that by exerting themselves less they will have more energy, but paradoxically, the opposite is the case.
