Since I am most often in Bangkok, it doesn't do the place justice to have one posting for the whole city like I do for other places so I'm going to try something different and post about some of my favorite places.
Quaint, delightful and delicious, the Featherstone cafe is tucked away in Ekkamai Bangkok in what looks like an old house. Limited street parking on the outside, the inside has been renovated to a cafe & restaurant on the right hand side and a curio and trinket shop on the left hand side. I ordered the cold brew coffee and a baked spinach, my son ordered an iced americano and my wife ordered tea. The cold brew, though considerably more expensive, was much smoother and better tasting than the iced americano. The cafe filled up quickly after 11.30am on a Sunday. The curio and trinket shop was also very interesting, though mostly scarves, bags, crystals, jewellery etc.
A now a poem:
Peekaboo
Does anyone read these poems of mine
Or care that I take the time to rhyme
Though often random, always inspired
My life and travels, not yet retired
If you have read this far, congrats
Continue we should to have more chats
If not no worries, I'll still be writing
Inciting, contriving but mostly delighting
