Your Challenges Are Not The Greatest

There are worse things in life than what you think you are currently passing through. If you think your challenges are the biggest, you will be surprised how small they will become if you compare them with other people's challenges.

I humorously made a statement to a friend of mine sometimes back when he always complained about his challenges. I told him that "if it was possible that one day of the month, everyone will assemble at a central location to display their problems and pick them up later, believe me, when you come to pick up your own, you will discover it would have been replaced by a bigger problem and your own stolen by someone that sees them as no problem".

This is to let you know that what you call a problem now can be gladly welcomed by someone else who sees it as an answer to their prayer.

I give you this instance: Do you think that graduating from college and waiting long for job is the biggest challenge? May I remind you that there are others that do not even have the privilege to go to college and they will pick up your challenge gladly without any questions.

You've got no shoes to wear and you think it's the greatest challenge? May I also remind you that there are some people that are without legs and there are others that their legs are hung on the hospital bed. Do you think they will not gladly accept that challenge of not having shoes but having functional legs?

When you start to see the smallness of your challenge, then the ability to fight through and overcome it will be pumped up within you. But when you see it as the biggest in the world, then it will appear like that in your eyes. Remember this, some of the people you envy have bigger challenges than you but they learnt how to go about it - you too can learn how to go about yours without losing your mind.

Peace on y'all
