Learning Lessons From Failure

Sometimes, what many people consider as failure is not failure in the real sense but a minor setback that they are meant to learn something from and get better. Any setback that teaches you a lesson to be better should not be called failure.

If many people that succeeds at something and are now celebrated tell you what they went through, you will agree with me that they may have encountered many setbacks in the time past. That is why failures (or setbacks) are never final if you can turn them into lessons.

As a matter of fact, to an extent, setbacks are part of the success story of many successful people. If you have ever watched long jumpers or high jumpers perform, you would have noticed one thing - they normally draw back a little before taking the jump. In the same way, when life draws you back a little, just see it as a minor setback that has only one purpose; to set a right pace for a better and more powerful comeback.

The only time you will consider something as failure is if you did not learn anything new from it and if you refuse to get up and try again. As long as you have learnt something new and have risen up from your fallen state, then success is already in view.

It does not matter how long you have tried and failed to hit the mark, just try it out again. Your failure only starts when you quit trying. Remember this; winning is never meant for quitters. Believe me, in the journey to success, many things will be pointing towards quitting, but refuse to give up and success will be in view.

If the wright brothers had given up in their quest to put heavier-than-air flying machines up in the sky, how will we have known about airplane today? One thing you should remove from your mind anytime you want to try something is the mentality of quitting. Keep giving it a try till you succeed at it.
