Can you guess?

I had no idea. My guess was around 1000.
Not even close.

The correct answer is 6909, according to Ethnologue. Or at least this was the right answer in 2009. The number is constantly declining because a new language doesn’t appear or develops overnight while local forms of speech are lost at a much higher rate.

See you tomorrow for more “Useless information”
