I have always loved cities by night. During the day, they are drab, monochrome and ugly. Any splashes of colour washed out by the intense sunlight or accentuated by the falling rain.
Then the sun goes down and they transform into beautiful, vibrant works of art. An exciting adventure playground with always a hint of fear. The beauty created by humankind.
During the hours of light, the beauty of nature abounds and we can gaze incredulously at its colourful tranquility. A random environment that the universe has created.
But at night, it becomes black and uninviting. Silent bar the calls of nature.
Brought up in the country. At home in the City
(I really should buy a decent camera and learn how to take photographs!)
