The increasing inequality is discouraging, yet hope lies on those who can make it happen

There is a trend I am seeing across the board when it comes to reality, crypto, gaming, and other related areas. Those who are able to make more, get more rewards.

Maybe it has always been obvious, a given. But what does it mean for those who are just starting? Take rewarded gaming in crypto, for instance.

Those who are fortunate to get into the platform early would get higher rewards and have the advantage of building their assets. Those who come in much later find a reward pool stretched thin and revised rulesets that regulate the ecosystem to prevent it from being 'gamed'.

Those who got into the game earlier have an edge (together with those who come in with financial muscle), in that they can make decisions based on a wider range of options available to them as opposed to those just starting out with the little resources they have.

If those who have been longer at the game keep reinvesting into the ecosystem, those at the bottom have little chance of catching up and being at the same level as those at the top.

If exchange whales are some of those who managed to get into the crypto game early, or are just savvy traders who know how to get the most out of their large volumes, then they also form an example of the players who get more rewards to the disadvantage of smaller players with smaller positions in the market. They use trading techniques that manipulate the prices of tokens in exchanges (and out of exchanges) in their favour.

Even in fair game situations, those who have more can determine the future of those who are starting out in life. Even the Bible implies that the person who has more, gets the higher reward, as he/she proves to show better responsibility for more resources. They can choose who to help along the way and who deserves a chance at success given identifiable positive psychometrics.

I think the higher one goes on the success ladder in society, he/she should be aware that the actions they take, or lack of which, could influence the direction in which others behind them will take.

It's difficult passing homeless people in the street knowing one doesn't have enough resources to help them out of their situation, especially when they watch as others wastefully misuse what's accessible to them thanks to their good fortune. Some end up there through their own reckless choices and some end up there through situations beyond their control. Life happens. Yet, one can't help wondering if there could be a way to have every living person have access to the very basic needs of life.
