Well, I really like nature so I decided to take a navigation course with my best friend, Tom. In the beginning, we both were bad navigators and we were always lost and didn't know where we were located on the map.
It always happens to every navigator. You will walk and walk and see at a random point in time that you don't know your location. The most important thing is not to get panicked over the fact that you don't know where you are. If you do a navigation with a map, then just look at some big mountains you are able to see and check their location on the map. This way you can easily find out the location of yours.
If you navigate without a map (Only from what you remember), then it will be harder. However, not impossible. You have to get back to the place in which you knew your location ASAP. After you reach that destination then just think about your navigation axis and fix the mistake you made.
Those locations can be high mountains, rivers, lakes, and more.
One of the most important things a good navigator should have is to be able to understand the fastest and easiest way he/she can go through the navigation. You should think about it briefly when you choose your navigation axis on the map. You should aim to go only through easy places like near rivers, near roads, and not to go through high mountains, heavy forests, and vegetation which will make the navigation way harder to go.
there are many important points to being the best navigator. I have shown you the most important points. I hope that it has helped you guys, good luck in the navigation!
