No, your eyes are not playing tricks. That really is lifety life. This is my lifety life, and a fine one it is. Well, so far anyway. I haven't lost my sight, my hearing, or any of my senses or limbs. Occasionally, I have briefly lost my mind. I have lost my keys, lost my voice a couple of times, and lost my train of thought often. I lost the car once in a parking lot, and my child got lost one time in a shopping mall. All of these things have caused varying degrees of panic. But I found most of those things with a little patience and a few tears.
