Why are we so afraid to go after our dreams? Who told us that we could not get our dreams so we stop going after them? And ultimately found ourselves start living a life of mediocrity, a life that is way beneath our potential, a life that is what we feared the most.
I know there was a time in my life when I was literally living my fears, not my dreams. Everything around me was what I feared would happen to me and nothing was what I had dreamed of as a young dreamer.
I had settled for a life that was not what I wanted but I thought it was the best I could do. I know we have all been there. But we must find the confidence to start believing in ourselves and believe in our dreams again.
If not then we will always live a life of great disparity. A life that never seems to add up. The life that you dream and desperately want in your heart and the life that you live, your reality is so much different that it makes you so unhappy.
I challenge you to today to give yourself permission to go after your dreams. Just decide on one, the smallest of them and just give yourself permission to dare to dream.
I guarantee that if you dare to dream and you give this dream attention and power it will become a reality. Just have a little confidence in yourself and your dream.
Tell yourself each day that you’re going to make it. No matter how hard or how bad it seems, you’re going to make it.
