During sessional Break in my University days,I'll leave my COMFORT ZONE(my parent house) and travelled to work and suffer some things.
Back then I always work with my distant brother, who owns a shop in a popular area in the ancient city of Ibadan.
During the day, the apartment was used as an office space and at night it is automatically converted to our bedroom and kitchen(but now is #1 Brand Factory in Ibadan)
I knew deep in my mind that Its a Season and part of life lesson.
Just in time, I finished from a prestigious university, served my father's land for a year (NYSC).
During my service year, I received different awards and my brand name came into existence(DAMMIAN CLOTHINGS & PRINTS), that was when i started seeing myself as a CEO rather than a job seeker, but we all know we always wanted to work In a big company getting six digit salaries.
After some interviews with some top companies I realised this isnt my calling, and
most officers that interviewed me were either too rude, inquistive or too young for me to work with....
I transfered all the skills, exposures and knowledge have gained from my brother into my own business.
I started having my own customers even though I had to go through some trying times, which lasted for almost a year, but i kept on pressing, building relationships and improving my technical know how.
Now, I can boldly say my work has gone far even to where have not been to.
I have orders for my work from all part of Nigeria, Dubai, South Africa, USA, to mention but a few.
Here on steemit is where I now have the opportunity to better promote my handiwork. One of my blessing is @stach, for allowing me produce 97% of the shirts for the last Ibadan meet up.
