Yesterday was cleaning in the house. Lots and lots of cleaning. The boys are little walking tornadoes that leave a trail of debris behind them wherever they go. Being 4 and 7 they have little concern for cleaning up after themselves, combined with living on a farm with the dirt and muck our floors get pretty dirty. It took a couple of hours of cajoling the boys to finally get the room picked up so I could sweep. Laundry, cleaning, constantly reminding the boys to keep picking up, constantly reminding the boys that we are picking up not getting more things out to play with, more organizing, and finally I got the floors cleaned.
@stryeyz had a pair of flights to get home and I put them up on Flightradar24 so we could watch as she crossed the states.
The UFC was on and we watched that until it was time to go pick her up. I was really happy to find out that I was able to use the wi-fi in the car to keep streaming the fights while we drove the half hour to the airport. We sat in cell phone parking and waited for her to get outside. It was really great to see her again after 2 weeks and the boys were super excited. We got home and the dog just about shook himself out of his skin in excitement and the cat would not get up from her lap once she sat down.
Today I am getting a new batch in the freeze dryer and we are mostly hanging out around the house now that she is home.
