Smelling the roses

Let's just say that Tuesday was marginally better than Monday and I went out to smell the roses. It's the time of year that we literally have a wall of them in our garden.

This is the first, in full bloom.

Remember I said marginally?

Well, that's because I started work for a new client - on one of their major clients. The client pulled the plug. All of a sardine. So, two large chunks of income work for the month went up in smoke. It's a mixed blessing because I had a feeling in my water about the client's client and had lost a goodly amount of sleep over it on Monday. So, I'm believing that all's well that ends well and that something will materialise and that everything will come up roses.

Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
  • From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

  • lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.
