Arise Africa; Awakening beckons.

When the torrents emerge gracefully from the clouds above us, we should be excited, it should be a bliss to the ground.

But here in Africa, especially in Nigeria we hiss like a pregnant woman with a bad nausea or allergy.

The roads become marshy and muddy, the ground soils our fancy shoes. Our car tires are reeling in mud, stuck in the mishap that has befallen the once good roads.

We pride ourselves and beat our chest in the Melanin heritage of being African. But only now we realize that it transcends beyond skin pigmentation.

They call the white man, a wizard who invents mad technology that defies the very grounds we saunter on in confident strides. But little do we know that he has seen the need for perfection and has embraced astute knowledge.

Ignorance is like a kiss on the cheek turn sour, rather than leaving you with goose bumps, it fills and plagues your face with the horrors of self realizing bacteria.

Africa, they say, is the cape of good hope, we have phenomenal beings with unbelievable wealth of knowledge, but what is becoming of the graciousness of wisdom embedded in them?

Would it drown in the sea of castigation, bad governance, corruption and criticism?

Or would it soar like the bird who has realized only too late that its wings were meant for defying gravity and not for aerating itself?

I know of a time that is already now, where vast knowledge the likes of; digitized assets, drones, technological serums, quantum physics, cryptocurrencies, glassware devices and so on will have a sane man exploding with hysterical laughter at the convenience he would unbelievably enjoy from technology.

We are dynamic in our ways, splendid in our feats, controversial in our outlook, but above all, we are as equally sane and capable as any man in the world out there ready to make a milestone achievement. Leaving and etching our footprints in the sands of time.

Arise Africa, the time is now, let's not only sway to our pantomime and Ukuleles, let us also bear our face gracefully, ride on the wings of truthfulness, realizing that he that has no foe holds no fear.

Let us embrace the goodness in us, promote our bright minds, give them a future to grasp and lay hold of and for eternity all will be perpetually grateful.

One positivism! One heartbeat!, One Africa!

To those who are in thought, Africa is not a country. Africa is a continent consisting of some many amazing and diverse countries.
I am personally from southwestern Nigeria.
