I only became an instructor in Phuket because I had a plan a year before on my farm. I wanted to build a 300sqm greenhouse to escape the bad weather that is the prevailing weather in the north of Germany.
It was to be one of those foil tunnels which you see in professional growers' gardens. 10 meters wide and 30 meters long.
I wanted to use it not only for plants. A pool was planned, a clay oven and also a sauna. And in the winter I would have space to screw on my cars.
Until winter a used steel skeleton was bought, the place for it prepared, electricity, water and sewage laid, in addition, water for the irrigation of the plants from my pond.
In March I was planning to set a concrete foundation, put out the steel skeleton and the foil, carefully chosen so that I could breed bumblebees in it, was promised for the end of May.
That was the plan...... and God laughed.
The next year he let rain so much that the whole area was still underwater in June, the soil could not absorb and drain it so quickly.
And I was so frustrated that I looked for a hobby.
I couldn't play golf because of the weather, so I decided to learn how to scuba dive.
I did it during the whole rainy summer and when autumn came and the water became more unpleasant, I decided to fly to Thailand for a couple of weeks just to be able to dive there.
The first time diving in 30 degrees warm water..... a dreamlike feeling. no thick neoprene, which restricts. I felt free and safe at the same time in this warm water, only with the diving equipment and shorts.

I flew back to Germany, my wife didn't want to go but the divorce, I sold my sheep and beekeeping, the cars too and went back to Phuket.
And because I still feel so comfortable in the water, I made training as a scuba diving instructor to show other people how it is.
My ears are still ringing from God's laughter and I am still smiling myself.
