Peace is and leads to profits, while conflict ultimately leads to loss and heartache. This vital bit of wisdom is often times overlooked in our world, where cutthroat leaders pursue victory at any cost.
Being a peacemaker is harder than sowing discord and out flanking your adversary. It is easier to marshall an army that it is to negotiate a complicated set of terms. Knowing this, taking the high road is generally more profitable and wise in the long run.
When you become a man of violence, you must always work on your offense while keeping a strong defense. You may think you are the toughest man on the block, but rest assured there are other warriors an order of magnitude tougher than you are. Being a peacekeeper will provide you with what you seek- peace. When you negotiate, you will have peace in your life and be seen as wise. Do not have an inflated ego, and those who seek to push you aside will not gain much if they try.
Most religions value peace. It is a great thing for a man to embrace a peaceful and narrow path.
