This week I like personal content the most

Not sure how to start a free-write after 6 days off and so these words will have to do.

Cutting to the chase, my Grandad passed last weekend. It was expected and he was looked after until the end. What was not expected was my mothers heart attack the next morning after she had flown to the UK following the news.

Thankfully, she left the hospital last night with a stent and is back at my Brothers house. Bizarrely, when my Grandma passed a decade ago, my mothers brother suffered a heart attack - stress on the mind, stress on the heart. The stent has done him well though, and so I hope for the same for my mother.

I'm leaving the Island next Wednesday having originally planned to move a little later - after mothers birthday. But as she will be now in the UK, I'll be heading over a little sooner and will hopefully have a roof over my head and a couch to sleep on somewhere up in the Northwest, where she'll be based.

My daughter lives a little further south, and so it will be a couple more weeks until I get to see her. Nottingham will likely be my base to start with, but I guess I'll be looking for work all over. And well, if the UN give me a call from Valencia, I think I'll be packing my bags again....

I have has plenty of time this past week to write, but my desire to be creative or share sad news just hasn't been there. The interesting thing is that it has been the personal posts that I have read which has been the content luring me back.

I've tended to avoid HF and STEEM price talk and have found that following a little separation from grinding out posts each day, it's the personal content from the community that I appreciate the most. This could be due to the relationships I've made here to some extent, but I'm happy to read this personal/original content from just about anyone.

Thank you for sharing yourselves and your lives :)

This short effort today, and the Leagues post tomorrow should hopefully give me a kick up the ass to get back into the swing of things.
