Daydreaming Fools (an original poem)

i keep dreaming.

my sanity has shifted to rely on it

allow the dreams to run rampant

these days to sound

like symphonies

it's all perspective.

some call me crazy for being honest

because they've sold out,

they don't want

any reminders

i keep dreaming.

to seed the surroundings

with wonder and words

with the opening of doors

with the enlightening of love

so keep dancing.

find that inner spirit

you understand

that soul,

voice, feet

it's all honor.

lift the truth by its cold damp hand

into this sound

into the cabin

we've contained light within

these, our dreams.

made up of the sense

made up of the scene.

meant to be lived

meant to become, tangible things.
