Could HIVE use something like this? Im not sure

SPinvest is a tokenized investment fund/club experiment open to all HIVE users. The concept of SPinvest is to get rich slowly by using time tested methods of earning, saving and compounding long term. We encourage long term investing on and off the blockchain. We hope someday everyone will HODL some SPI tokens that can be bought directly from hive-engine by search SPI.

How do projects get investment on HIVE?

We are all aware of the HIVE proposals program and how this lets developers, communities are almost any project that would have a positive effect on HIVE and add value to the chain to collect funding. Some people like this system, some dont, some people see the funds being used smartly and others think its a popularity contest that's being milked, most are in the middle and don't really care.

So to get the point, it's a good system. People propose an idea and how much funding they need, HIVE users vote and the result is they either get funded are don't get funded. What if we replaced voting for investing? What if there was a funding system in place that would let users collect funding for personal projects? This is not a new groundbreaking idea but it is something that is not being offered on HIVE.

Who would use this?

Anyone that has an idea and requires funding.

Anyone that requires funding would send in their proposals to SPinvest to be reviewed to ensure all required information is complete and screen for scams. People looking investment would need to explain their idea/goal, how much money (HIVE/HE token) they require, what date they need the investment by, if they are offering rewards (gifts/equity/service/future-product/nothing) to people investing certain amounts and any other information required.

How would it work?

• userA has an idea, writes a proposal and submits it
• Its get approved and we create a post for it
• We advertise it on LeoFinace
• userA shares the link to their friends
• People go to the post and commit to making an investment by sending the HIVE/HE token to our holding account and leave a comment on that post to be confirmed by us (the comment is the investor's receipt)
• When the funding time finishes, 3days-28days are something. The proposal will either be fully funded are not.

Funded are not funded
If the proposal gets fully funded are overfunded, all HIVE goes to userA
If the proposal is not filled, all HIVE is returned to investors

SPinvest would take a cut, maybe 5-10%. It would also give us the first chance to invest in new projects. If someone comes with a really good idea, SPinvest can solely fund the project. It offers a chance to smaller wallet users that have great ideas/coding skills but no funds to get the ball rolling.

Anyways it's just another idea putting it out there. It would require a little work, mostly admin stuff to be honest. Let me know what you think and if this is something that HIVE could use.
