Bitcoin To Become Legal Payment In Brazil

Or at least that's the hope and expectation as the Brazilian legislature is set to vote on a cryptocurrency regulation bill in the next couple of days.

If passed, you will soon be able to buy a house, a car or even a burger with Bitcoin. You can read more about the news here: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-set-become-legal-payment-154644863.html

Brazil has a population of around 200 million people so this is a huge leap forward from where we were with El Salvador which has a population of 6.5 million people.

So after this week, we might have 206 million people who can use Bitcoin as legal tender. Not bad at all.

Then there was other positive adoption news that I read about Singapore's biggest bank getting a crypto license and also another pacific island also about to accept Bitcoin as legal tender.

China banning Bitcoin does seem to have made adoption in the rest of the world an easier sell. After all, Google and Wikipedia are also banned in China and we all love them.
