Talk Over Stimulus Is Collapsing! Is It Partisan Disagreement Or Is It All Show?

The mood that politics be putting you these days

Another day, another round of talks going on at Capital Hill as to how much funds are gonna be spent during this round of stimulus and to who might they be going to. And currently the talks (at least at face value), are looking fruitless.

With at this point, over 55 million people having filed for un-employment and the economy at a virtual free-fall, largely fueled by COVID related lockdowns, there are a lot of eye balls being pointed towards Washington as to see if and when their stimulus checks will come, as by the day more and more Americans have become reliant on them in order to get by.

According to AP, rescue Stimulus aid is on the brink of collapse, apparently due to disagreements of the priorities of said aid.

Several democratic bills (many of them totaling $3 trillion) have a great focus in providing aid and bailouts to States and Cities that have been poorly run during the course of the pandemic.

Trump has himself expressed the desire to deploy executive orders in order in his view to address evictions and unemployment insurance.

Is the disagreements really genuine or is it all show?

The answer to that is to ask whether any of the disagreements are coming from any kind of a principled place. That doesn't seem to be the case for either party. Both parties have agreed that they can spend what virtually amounts to a endless supply of monopoly money and pump it into the economy and it can be done with little to no consequences.

While it probably isn't fair to put blame to many of the 55 million people that have filed for unemployment insurance for where they are at the moment. Both parties have no desire it seems to allow people to generally go back to a state of making money of their own (whether it be by a job or by their own business) rather than having to relay on a $1200 (or $600 a week for those on unemployment) check from Uncle Sam.

Eventually the cost and repercussions for giant amounts of deficits and money printing is gonna come, and are the crooks at Capital Hill gonna come out then and admit fault for their actions, or will they make the citizens back up the slack instead?

As Rand Paul said, the Republicans should apologize to Obama for basically exposing themselves as hypocrites during this pandemic as for how willing they seemed concern over spending then, they have no concern now to spend into infinity the Treasury, and make you and your future kids pick up the slack as a result.

If these times expose one thing about the Duopoly system currently being represented in the US (and in many other similar Western Nations), it's that there is virtually no real difference between the supposed two options that you have.

And if there is disagreement between them, the disagreement is about as deep as deciding whether you prefer to get punched in the gut, or if you prefer taking a kick to the gut.
