Thousands Of More Tech Layoffs Expected Soon

It is expected that Meta might be next to go ahead with thousands of layoffs for employees. The share price has plunged over months and experts suggest that investors aren't too optimistic about plans to continue spending a lot of money on the metaverse future.

Those layoffs for Meta could start Wed this week.

Those potential layoffs come after a number of other employees were just let go from Twitter.

It's estimated that tens of thousands of tech workers have already lost their job this year. Is there still more to come?

What is the demand for the metaverse?

Recent surveys have indicated that there might not be a lot of support for the metaverse yet, one found about half of teens are uninterested in the idea so far of joining in.

Even more adults don't seem to be any more interested in the idea of joining the metaverse either.

How long before they might change their minds?

How much marketing is it going to take?

What is going to be that shift?

Will it take the next generation growing up with exposure to all things Web 3 for many more people to be more open minded to the metaverse?

Despite the unwillingness so far from many to familiarize themselves with the metaverse we have seen that so far Meta has spent billions already on their vision and building this experience.
