For the last four months, i've tracked how much DEC i've earned over the course of playing Splinterlands. Of course, there are other avenues to earn like cards and tournaments but those are above and beyond the norm for me.
My daily habit is to get the day's quest out of the way and maybe play an extra battle or two if i'm in the mood. So i basically do the minimum here.

Over the course of 4 months, i made about nearly 17,967 DEC, which is around $17.80 based on today's price. Add on the card rewards and it's probably north of $30. Hardly retirement money but it some nice pocket money for the kids.
Investing
With the new DEC farm on Cub Finance, i'll be sticking my spare DEC there to earn a sweet 200% interest. Given the current ranking system, it is unlikely i'll make it to Gold II anytime soon so it is better to farm some cubs I think.
