Monster-Curator Delegation Earnings Revisited

In my earlier post two weeks ago about delegating to the monster-curator account, I said I'll do a follow-up after some time to see what the returns are like. It has been about two weeks and so here's my review after collecting more data.

I delegated 3,000 SPT and received 35.992 SPT back over 12 days. This works out to an average return of 2.999 SPT per day.

Assuming an average daily return of 3.0 SPT per day, that works out to 1,095 SPT returned in a year from an initial 3,000 SPT delegation. That is an annual return of approximately 36.50%. In my initial review, the annual returns were calculated to be 34.4%, so it has been fairly consistent.

Consider Delegating

The reason why i decided to do a follow up now, is because I delegated an additional 4,000 SPT to the monster-curator account, and wanted to simplify the math a little. The pretty impressive earnings aside, the fact that it is completely passive, and goes towards rewarding good Splinterlands content are reasons for delegating.

Personally, I will compound my SPT earnings towards delegating more. Not like there is much use for it anyway, till the devs decide to do something with it.
