Pawns In The Game

The much anticipated "Bitcoin ETF" has been approved in the United States. It was supposed to usher in a massive surge in $BTC, leading to a super cycle. Right? Except it didn't, or perhaps hasn't yet.

First, it wasn't really a Bitcoin ETF, per se, but rather a Bitcoin futures ETF. This is actually relatively bad news for BTC for several reasons. Firstly, it's totally against the ethos of Bitcoin because it introduces a middleman and some garbage trust-based paper nonsense in-between you and your money. Secondly, and more importantly for the powers that be, it opens up Bitcoin for manipulation by the big banks with the deep pockets.

These lovely chess pieces are from a set I've had for over 20 years. I used to play chess in my younger days and I learn't a lot from it regarding strategy - especially the power of the pawn underdogs.

If you think the big banks, governments and establishment institutions are going to sit back and watch you destroy what took them centuries to build, you've got to be out of your mind! Bitcoin is the one biggest threat to oligarchy, financial tyranny and the mass enslavement of the global population right now.

Of course! Apart from buying up as much Bitcoin as they possibly can over the counter, or by fake FUD dip buying, they're also lobbying the heck out of governmental bodies to create legislation that will swing the balance of power back in their favour.

Imagine not approving a mortgage product, but approving a derivative of a mortgage product? I know, it makes no sense, except you zoom out and realise that we are in a game of chess and this is a strategic move.

We are eventually going to see Spot Bitcoin ETFs when the pockets that be have acquired enough of it. As for now, expect to see a whole bunch of garbage pseudo crypto derivatives sanctioned. Also expect to see more legislation that will come after you and your cold storage.

What we must learn to do is leverage our power as the little underestimated guy. Keep our heads down, acquire spot crypto, avoid the garbage and distractions and take that little step forward one at a time. Eventually, if we avoid being eaten by a queen or king, bishop, knight or rook, we too can win.
