Ok, so I'm baked and that means this is the prelude to a rant.
The Genesis bitcoin is for sale for just under $200k. I don't like the 5% royalties part of the deal but maybe we can haggle around that. This proposal has room for it.
We buy the genesis bitcoin and house it here on HIVE. We break it down into individual satoshis and tokenize them or wrap it in HIVE for Uniswap, or some other genius financial wizardry.
EVERYONE on hive gets a CHANCE to buy one, or win one in a contest. YOU MUST BE ON HIVE TO QUALIFY! Each token gets you earnings on whatever the genesis btc earns from however we put it to work. The HIVE community will always have the prestige of being the Godparent of the crypto Godparent. This is cheap, attention getting, and the foundation for a legacy. I bet we could crowdfund this in no time and if we hyped it right the rush would spike the fuck out of Hive just in time to get ahead of the moon-mentum. Shit! We don't have time! Someone spot me $200k and a whole shitload of patience to figure this out. Like goddamn it... the marketing value alone would be beyond superbowl ad space for the crown and all the crown jewels sitting atop The Genesis Bitcoin's head. People would rush to call this home. ok...I'm going to sleep now.
