Myth

Understanding of myth according to several sources has the similarity of a story or a fairy tale set in the past. The first person to introduce the term myth is that Plato was a Greek philosopher and mathematician. The term Myth comes from the Greek mythos and Dutch mite which means story or word. The mythical speakers have heard the story from previous generations, usually there is the characterization of the gods that occur in another world (heaven) and is associated with the occurrence of a place, the universe, the customs and other past tales. Myth is almost similar to legend and folklore which is a traditional story in a different kind. What is slightly different is that Folklore can be anytime and anywhere, and should not be considered real or sacred by the people who preserve it. Likewise, the legend is a story that has traditionally been perceived as true, but is based on more recent times, when the world is formed as it is today image image image
