Not so far ago in the glorious city of Saint-Petersburg the annual custom festival "White Night Kustom Awards" has happened.
The masters bringing their best babes to please the eyes of visitors and surprise experienced judges by their fantasies incarnated in metal already 7 years in a row.
After a long lazy cruise around the most aesthetically satisfying places, interrupted only by a beer pit-stops, all squad goes to Saint-p Street Art Museum.
This place was an old factory, now it’s full of musicians, tattoo-artists, cookers, barbers, dancers, riders and painters of all kinds.
Everybody spreading on a spacey lawns between freshly painted urban buildings and the party begins!
This time, since it’s a even year, the main awards cups were made in a shape of an Albrecht Durer praying hands with a bicycle chain, traditional symbol of Bicycle Trust workshop, founders of this festival.
they are separated in two parts - one hand for the best custom bicycle workshop, and another - for the best custom motorcycle.
If you put them together it becomes a whole composition.
Here is a cups for the winners in auto, moto and bicycle custom nominations in WNKA 2016, all handcrafted with love by one talented russian free-welder.
One hand goes to bicycle workshop called "5/7"
Second one goes to motocustomizers called "HEAVY DUTY MOTORCYCLES"
It’s like a strong solid metal high-five, only the winners can handle it I guess:)
The third cup is embody a hand holding a shift knob, all in tiki - polynesian style which is dearly loved by customizers all over the world, even Russia is not an exception!
It was given to "Route 66 museum".
So that’s how you can entertain yourself during the long white nights, because summer is not the time to sleep!
