How to cook black rice

  • black rice take longer to cook, first step you will do soak the black rice for atleast 1 hour, but preferably for several hours. 
  • after soaking the black rice rinse the rice 
  • place on the rice cooker with two cups of water for every one cup of rice 
  •  Boil the rice for at least one half hour if you did soak the rice 
  •  Check the the rice  to see if it is  cooked  
  • if not cook   keep boiling until it reaches the texture you’re looking for.
