- black rice take longer to cook, first step you will do soak the black rice for atleast 1 hour, but preferably for several hours.

- Boil the rice for at least one half hour if you did soak the rice
- Check the the rice to see if it is cooked
- if not cook keep boiling until it reaches the texture you’re looking for.
