어제 급히 난 인사로, 부장 환송회에 급 끌려갔는데 먹기 싫은 술 피하며 고개 숙이고 있던 차에 발견.
Yesterday, my department head transfer to other part. So we had a farewell dinner. At dinner place, I found something on the table.
"OOO는 최대한 건강한 우리 먹거리를 손님들께 제공해 드리려고 노력하겠습니다."
이 말은,
-일단 지금 제공된 음식은 '건강한 우리 먹거리'가 아님. 우리 먹거리인데 건강하지 않을 수 있고, 건강한데 우리 먹거리가 아닐 수도 있음.
-앞으로 건강한 우리 먹거리를 제공하겠다는 것은 아님. 노력해보겠다는 뜻.
-그리고 아직은 그 노력을 시작하지 않았음. 앞으로 노력해보겠다는 뜻.
-또, 앞으로 제공하기 위해 노력해 볼 우리 먹거리는 엄격한 기준에 입각해 건강한 게 아니고 머 최대한 건강한 것을 쓰도록 노력해 보겠다는 말.
"We will try to serve maximum healthy domestic food"
it means that,
-we are not serving maximum healthy domestic food yet.
-and it doesn't mean that we will serve maximum healthy domestic food.
-and we have not started trying to serve maximum healthy domestic food yet.
-'maximum' means 'we don't know the food we will serve is healthy or not.'(in Korean)
