I am truly ashamed of myself being a Human. Incidents such as this make me so uncomfortable that I want to disappear somewhere (Planet Mars). See, it is not the aliens from a different planet or a dangerous animal that committed the crime. It is a human being vs an innocent human. What is more disturbing is that the justice is not served until now!
Who is Asifa and what happened to her?
Asifa Bano is an eight-year-old Muslim nomad girl. She loved to take horses for grazing to the forest near her home in Rasana, a quiet village in Kathua district. She was kidnapped and taken to a culvert in front of a temple where she had been kept in captivity, and sedated, for four days. She was sexually abused repeatedly by eight Hindus. To confirm his death, the Hindu rapists hit hard with a stone. A special police officer, named, Deepak Khajuria, demanded that she be raped before the killing. The young girl’s body lay for three days in the forest where they left her.
What motivated the Hindu Rapists to commit such a crime?
Hatred towards Muslims has compelled them to commit such heinous crime. Sanji Ram, the custodian of the Hindu temple where the crime was committed, is the mastermind of this incident. His heart was filled with so much hatred against Muslims that he did not think a little about an 8-year-old girl who does not know what is the difference between Hindu and Muslim. He was a staunch opponent of the settlement of Muslim tribes in the Kathua district and saw Asifa as a soft target to frighten the tribe into leaving.
The convicted Hindus committed such crime just to drive away local Muslim tribe! My question to you people-is it in any way comprehensible? Just to drive away a group of people, you kidnap an innocent girl and then violate her to death? Shame on us humans! I just can't take it anymore. My limit to watch-and-do-nothing has crossed!
What is more surprising is that two ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) attended a rally in support of the accused men! Come-on!
What is the reaction of normal people?
Scores of people are out on the streets protesting because it's so human, it's so depraved, and once again it shows that India just doesn't value girls or women.
Rape such as this kind has happened before. People gathered, protested and forgot after a few days. We cannot afford to let this happen this time. No more! If we do not demand Asifa get justice, we belong to nothing. We should not be called ourselves as Human beings, period!
