Today while reviewing what I call the trunk of my memories, or rather, the trunk of my work I have found this work I did in 2018, I clearly remember the chaos that broke out on Facebook, by that time it was the most fashionable social network and in which everyone was 24 hours a day, when the date of pride (June 28 of that year) was approaching I wanted to do a work in representation together with Ronny who is my friend since childhood and always supported my work, We simply wanted to transmit in some photographs that love is simply love, in all forms and representations, when we took the pictures everything was normal, I edited them and obviously when they were ready I showed them to Ronny and he liked them, we waited for the date to upload them and there we felt a little nervous because we could imagine that it would cause some kind of commotion in our social environment and it did. .. This is how these pictures turned out. >El día de hoy mientras revisaba lo que llamo el baúl de mis recuerdos, o mejor dicho, el baúl de mis trabajos me he encontrado con este trabajo que realice en el año 2018, recuerdo claramente el caos que se desato en Facebook, para aquel tiempo era la red social mas de moda y en la que todo el mundo estaba las 24 horas del día, cuando se acercaba la fecha del orgullo (28 de junio de aquel año) quise hacer un trabajo en representación en conjunto con Ronny que es mi amigo desde la infancia y siempre apoyo mi trabajo, simplemente queríamos trasmitir en unas fotografías que el amor es simplemente amor, en todas las formas y representaciones, cuando hicimos las fotografías todo normal, las edite y obvio al estar listas se las mostré a Ronny y a el les gustaron, esperamos que se aproximara la fecha para subirlas y allí si se sentía un poco los nervios porque si nos llegamos a imaginar que causaría algún tipo de revuelo en nuestro entorno social y asi fue... So the day came and the same afternoon almost at night we uploaded the photos to Facebook and God, it was a complete madness in every way, in less than an hour it had many likes and had already been shared more than 500 times with messages of all kinds, people supporting, people in favor, and in that year compared to 2021 there was a different mentality, the next day and the publication was considered viral with more than 2000 shared and with family from my dad who lives in another state and which I am not interested in their opinion and it is important to note and it is important to clarify, They sent messages to my mom as if she did not know anything about it and without counting all the horrible hate messages she received, for a moment we even thought about deleting the publication but we were already on the boat, fortunately for us our parents have always been so open minded that always supported us and knew the work we were doing. Today is very different, there is more tolerance, more acceptance and more freedom, but of course not as it should be, there is still much to advance and evolve mentally, but the point of this work was that, to contribute a grain of sand for it. It gives me great pride to remember that today, I hope you like these photos friends. >Como les mencionaba sabíamos que el día del orgullo, subir las fotos podría causar un revuelo pero estábamos preparados para eso, o eso pensamos. Así que llego el día y el mismo por la tarde casi noche subimos las fotos a Facebook y Dios, fue una completa locura en todos los sentidos, en menos de una hora tenia muchísimos likes y ya lo habian compartido mas de 500 veces con mensajes de todo tipo, gente apoyando, gente a favor, y en ese año comparado con el 2021 había una mentalidad distinta, al día siguiente ya la publicación la consideraba viral con mas de 2000 compartidas y con familia por parte de mi papa que vive en otro estado y la cual no me interesa su opinión cabe destacar y es importante aclarar, les mandaban mensajes a mi mama como si ella no supiera nada de eso y sin contar todos los mensajes de odio tan horribles que recibía, por un momento hasta pensamos en borrar la publicación pero ya estábamos montados en el barco, por fortuna para nosotros nuestros padres siempre han sido tan mentes abiertas que nos apoyaron siempre y sabia del trabajo que hacíamos. El día de hoy es muy distinto, hay mas tolerancia, mas aceptación y mas libertad, pero claro que no como deberia, aun falta mucho por avanzar y evolucionar mentalmente, pero el punto de este trabajo era eso, aportar un grano de arena para ello. Me da mucho orgullo recordar eso el día de hoy, espero les gusten estas fotos amigos.
