I was still trying to fix my visa. People were helping. I felt, again, like I was held ransom. So, students began wondering what was happening. I wasn't telling people a lot about what was happening in my life around this time because I was undecided concerning big life choices I was making in 2016. I felt like I was also in a lose-lose situation where I was trapped and doomed regardless of what I did or said which was part of the reasoning behind my silence at times. Still, at the same time, it's a long story. Anna's mom was saying she could fix my visa. It was unlikely, I thought, but I was giving them an opportunity to try. I kind of wanted to teach them a lesson by showing them it was not going to work.
