It took a long time before I decided to start blogging. Thanks to @maxgou for the invitation!
I live in the Netherlands, brew coffee, raise a ginger cat and do my own internet projects. Now my life is not at all like my last 10-15 years.
I was born in Vladivostok (Russia), very far from Europe. The nearest city from Vladivostok is in China, and you can see Japan through good binoculars, so that you understand how far it is :-)
After studying at a local university for a bachelor's degree in Marketing, I moved to Moscow to study for a Master of Business Informatics in E-Business. This is how my journey into internet marketing and ecommerce began.
I worked for a large marketing agency. My career as a hired worker began as an e-commerce trainee and ended (hopefully ended) with an account director at the head of international agency partnerships. During all this time, I have accumulated experience, starting with manual automation of operational tasks, and ending with complex issues of labor organization in teams of up to 40 people. Therefore, I will probably sometimes get bored about management and KPI topics :-)) I promise to do this rarely.
For several years I was responsible for preparing large marketing strategies for companies like Buyer, Volkswagen Group, Leroy Merlin and many others.
I am exactly that person who cannot imagine life without Google Spreadsheets and Excel. I think I will make a whole series of posts on how to use Google Spreadsheets in a non-standard way for the tasks of a manager, marketer, SEO specialist, and even as a no-code way to create a network of affiliate websites.
In general, I believe that the ability to work with spreadsheets and make slides are the most important skills for any modern business person. It doesn't matter if you work for a company, doing your own projects, or looking for venture capital investments for a unicorn startup.
But the most important thing that interests me now is finding answers to questions about building my own Internet projects. I think this will be the main topic that I will publish posts about.
I also really like to travel. If anyone is interested, I also have a story to tell on this topic! I've visited about 30 countries and I'm not going to stop :-)))
