!wine Did somebody say wine? Sounds like fun. Reminds me of another parkrun run story.
A while back we were doing some touristing in South Australia and after the 5km run lots of the locals were heading over to a nearby golf course club house. I thought we were going for a spot of breakfast and coffee, but then the wine came out. It wasn't a special occasion, just a normal parkrun (Saturday) morning. Hours later and a few bottles later we left, thankful to have a free lift back to our accommodation.
Obviously this is why South Australia is famous for wine!
