Auch wenn ich nun fast 4 Monate auf Hive unterwegs bin, habe ich mich bisher nicht wirklich vorgestellt.
Da ich darauf angesprochen wurde, dass dies wohl so Usus ist, will ich das gerne nachholen.
Ich werde aber weder meinen kompletten Namen, noch zu viele Details über mich Preis geben. Ich hoffe, ihr habt dafür Verständnis.
Mein Name ist Sascha. Ich komme aus Deutschland und lebe mit meiner Frau und meinen beiden Töchtern in Hessen. Dort bin ich auch aufgewachsen.
Zu unserer Familie gehören noch zwei Katzen und wenn es nach meinen Töchtern ginge eine ganze Herde Pferde. Den Wunsch konnte ich Ihnen bisher aber leider nicht erfüllen 😂
Even though I've been on Hive for almost 4 months now, I haven't really introduced myself yet.
Since I was asked that this is the usual way, I want to make up for it.
But I won't give my complete name, nor too many details about me. I hope you will understand.
My name is Sascha. I come from Germany and live with my wife and my two daughters in Hessen. There I also grew up.
To our family belong two cats and if it would go after my daughters a whole herd of horses. The desire I could not fulfill you but unfortunately so far 😂
Nach dem Abitur habe ich berufsbegleitend Informatik studiert und bin meinem "Ausbildungsunternehmen" treu geblieben.
Ich habe mehrere Jahre als SAP Berater in der Konzern-IT gearbeitet und dabei hauptsächlich den Finanzbereich betreut.
Dabei hatte ich die Freude nicht nur SAP Projekte zu leiten, sondern später auch den externen IT-Support für meine Anwendung, der hauptsächlich in Indien ansässig war.
Über diese Funktion habe ich viel Kontakt zu Menschen überall auf der Welt gehabt, was ich sehr an dieser Arbeit geschätzt habe. Bis heute habe ich noch Kontakt zu Einzelnen aus meinem damaligen Team.
Parallel habe ich mich zuerst in der Jugend- und Auszubildendenvertretung und später im Betriebsrat engagiert. Seit 2013 bin ich freigestellter Betriebsrat bei uns im Unternehmen.
Darüber hinaus bin ich aktiv in unserer Gewerkschaft IGBCE. Unter anderem bin ich an den Tarifverhandlungen unserer Branche beteiligt und bilde Betriebsräte weiter.
Mein Beruf war irgendwie immer schon anderen zu helfen. Erst als IT-Berater und nun eben als Betriebsrat.
After graduating from high school, I studied computer science part-time and remained loyal to my "training company".
I worked for several years as an SAP consultant in the corporate IT department, mainly in the finance area.
In doing so, I had the pleasure of not only managing SAP projects, but later also leading the external IT support for my application, which was mainly based in India.
Through this role I had a lot of contact with people all over the world, which I really appreciated about this job. To this day, I am still in contact with individuals from my former team.
At the same time, I was involved first in the youth and trainee representation and later in the works council. I have been an fulltime works council member at our company since 2013.
I am also active in our trade union, the IGBCE. Among other things, I am involved in collective bargaining in our industry and train works council members.
In a way, my job has always been to help others. First as an IT consultant and now as a works council member.
Neben meinem Job und meiner Familie bleibt noch ein wenig Zeit für eigene Hobbies.
Früher habe ich gerne Bücher gelesen. Daher kommt auch mein Nickname Kheldar. Er stammt aus der Belgariad Saga von David Eddings.
Heute lese ich auf der Arbeit zwar immer noch sehr viel. Meine Fantasy und Sci-Fi Bücher (Shadowrun und Battletech) kann ich aber nur noch im Urlaub lesen.
Darüber hinaus bin ich ein großer Fan von Games Workshops "Bloodbowl" und habe bereits viel zu viel Geld in diverse Zinnminiaturen versenkt, die ich bis heute weder bemalt, noch jemals bespielt habe.
Spielen ist allgemein eine meine beiden großen Leidenschaften. Ob Poker oder PC Spiele. Es kann schon einmal vorkommen, dass ich mir hier die Nächte um die Ohren schlage. Sehr zum Leidwesen meiner Familie am nächsten Tag, wenn ich nicht aus dem Bett komme.
Meine zweite große Leidenschaft sind Finanzen. Ich investiere gerne in alles mögliche.
Vor der Finanzkrise waren es nur Einzelaktien und ETFs. In letzter Zeit aber zunehmend auch Optionen, und Kryptowährungen.
Über die Kombination von Spielen und Investieren bin ich auf Play2Earn gekommen und darüber auf Splinterlands.
Seit dem habe ich erst recht keine Zeit mehr für andere Hobbies, da mich die Hive-Community komplett ins sich aufgesogen hat.

My second great passion is finances. I like to invest in all kinds of things.
Before the financial crisis, it was just individual stocks and ETFs. Lately, though, increasingly options, and cryptocurrencies.
I came across Play2Earn through the combination of gaming and investing, and Splinterlands through that.
Since then I have no time for other hobbies, because the Hive community has completely absorbed me.
Zu Anfang war Hive für mich sehr verwirrend. Wenn man hier so wie ich niemanden kennt, ist es sehr viel Arbeit sich zurechtzufinden.
Es ist aber auch unheimlich spannend. Jede Frage die man sich über z.B. PeakD beantwortet wirft direkt wieder 5 neue Fragen auf. Man könnte Wochen und Monate damit verbringen Hive zu ergründen, und hätte dennoch den größten Teil noch nicht gesehen.
Was ich absolut großartig finde sind die verschiedenen Communities und die Hilfsbereitschaft der meisten Hiver.
Bisher hat sich auf jede meiner Fragen, jemand gefunden, und mir diese in Ruhe erklärt. Wenn es sein musste auch mehrfach.
Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an alle Mitglieder der Legendary Dragons sowie der D-A-CH Community, dem Team von Archmage und dem Oneup-Cartel.
Auch finde ich die Kombination aus einer Blockchain mit einem Social Network und diversen Apps, alle im gleichen Ecosystem einfach faszinierend.
Das mag klingen, als würde ein kleines Kind die große weite Welt entdecken, aber genauso geht es mir selbst nach 4 Monaten immer noch.
In meinem tagtäglichen Leben bin ich einer der erfahrensten in meinem Bereich und viele schauen auf das was ich tue, und legen Wert auf meinen Rat.
Hier ist es genau umgekehrt. Das ist erfrischend anders.
In the beginning, Hive was very confusing for me. If you don't know anyone here like I did, it's a lot of work to find your way around.
But it is also very exciting. Every question you answer yourself e.g. via PeakD, raises 5 new questions. You could spend weeks and months trying to figure out Hive, and still not have seen most of it.
What I find absolutely great are the different communities and the helpfulness of most Hivers.
So far, each of my questions, someone has found, and explained to me in peace. If it had to be also several times.

This may sound like a little kid discovering the big wide world, but that's how I still feel even after 4 months.
In my day to day life, I am one of the most experienced in my field and many look at what I do and value my advice.
Here, it's just the opposite. It's refreshingly different.
Als aller erstes will ich auf der Chain Spaß haben.
Ich muss mich tagtäglich mit viel Ärger herumschlagen, dass brauche ich auf der Chain nicht auch noch.
Gleichzeitig will ich hier neue Leute und Sichtweisen kennenlernen und mich generell in Dinge einarbeiten, mit denen ich mich vorher noch nicht beschäftigt habe.
Gleichzeitig möchte ich gerne andere an meinen Erfahrungen teilhaben lassen.
Ich bemühe mich alle meine Artikel so zu schreiben, dass man als Leser etwas für sich mitnehmen kann, indem ich meine Erkenntnisse und Gedankengänge beschreibe.
Ich hoffe, auch dazu konstruktives Feedback zu bekommen, vor allem, wenn der Leser eine andere Meinung hat, wie die Meine.
Auch auf Hive werde ich versuchen andere zu unterstützen.
Zwar bin ich nur ein kleiner Fisch, aber ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass es nicht allein auf die HP ankommt, sondern auf die Kreativität und das Engagement. Daran soll es nicht mangeln.
Natürlich sehe ich meinen Hive und Spiele Accounts auch als ein Investment und möchte das sich dieses vermehrt und auszahlt.
Der größte Teil meiner Ressourcen liegt in Splinterlands. Ich spiele aber auch Rabona und habe Assets von MuTerra und Psyber-X.
Fürs erste möchte ich bei Splinterlands aus eigener Kraft in die Goldliga aufsteigen, mein Deck verbessern und so auch meiner Gilde bessere Dienste leisten.
Dann bin ich sehr gespannt auf die beiden anderen Spiele. MuTerra sollte kurz vor dem Alpha Release sein.
Auf Hive selbst habe ich mir das Ziel gesetzt bis Ende des Jahres 1.000 HP zu erreichen. Ich werde monatlich dazu am Hive Power Up Day berichten.
First of all, I want to have fun on the chain.
I have to deal with a lot of trouble every day, I don't need that on the Chain as well.
At the same time, I want to meet new people and get to know new points of view and generally learn about things I haven't dealt with before.
At the same time I would like to share my experiences with others.
I try to write all my articles in a way that the reader can take away something for himself by describing my findings and thought processes.
I hope to get constructive feedback on this as well, especially if the reader has a different opinion than mine.
I will also try to support others on Hive.
Although I am only a small fish, I have made the experience that it does not depend on the HP alone, but on the creativity and commitment. There should be no lack of that.
Of course I see my hive and game accounts also as an investment and want this to increase and pay off.
Most of my resources are in Splinterlands. But I also play Rabona and have assets from MuTerra and Psyber-X.
For now, I want to advance to the Gold League in Splinterlands on my own, improve my deck, and thus better serve my guild.
Then I'm very excited about the other two games. MuTerra should be out shortly before the alpha release.
On Hive itself, I have set a goal to reach 1,000 HP by the end of the year. I will report monthly on this on Hive Power Up Day.
