My name is Adenusi Muyiwa, I was born and bred in the oil rich city of Warri Nigeria. Warri happens to be the humour capital of Nigeria. I can't imagine growing up elsewhere.
I am a graduate of Civil engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure. Schooling in the south western part of Nigeria was like going back home for me because I didn't have a grasp of my mother tongue. At the earlier stage, when I tried learning the Yoruba language my friends laughed me to scorn but am making progress now. I am no longer where I used to be. 
I love world politics, African politics, writing, music, football(Arsenal) and travelling. I just love the feeling of packing my bags, road trips and waking up somewhere else, the experience is thrilling. I am also a word buff and a crotocurrency enthusiast.
In the service to my fatherland, I served in a remote town in Cross river State Nigeria. The new culture, people and hospitality was second to none but electricity wasn't what I was used to. I was able to make the most of my service year, the students at my place of primary assignment were amazing. 
In the pursuit of 'happyness',I found myself in another oil rich city, Port Harcourt Nigeria. Am trusting the process, hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The unemployment rate here in Nigeria is very high and it is increasing with each passing day. 
In the meantime, I am volunteering with an international Non-governmental organisation which specialises in the care of HIV/TB patients. It has widened my horizon in the subject of public health, it is saddening to see the rate of HIV prevalence amongst youths in Nigeria. 
My cousin(@iammicl) has seen my writing abilities, I am not trying to blow my trumpet though. He talked me into joining Steemit, I am looking forward to making the best use of this platform.
