Twitter is pretty old website and had numerous changes, but what makes it different is numerous audience and the possibility to receive news in a very fast international feed.
Plus, you can post all your personal nonsense as long you stick to the rules. The only thing that doesn't go into their favor is suspensions, bans and shadow banning own users.
Also, the promoted content became obnoxious.
Twitter also has a lot of apps, especially for the Android smartphones.
Before I used to install and try any and all of them, but now I prefer to stick with the official app.
Basically the official Twitter app has everything plus more than the alternatives, plus would you actually pay for something that you can get for FREE?
